Hackers listen to the computer fan noise to steal your data

Update:2016-07-15 Share:
Needless to say, in the case of networking computers easily be hackers to steal data. However, this is not to say that the computer is not connected to the absolute security. In the past two years, an Israeli team especially good at never network computer to steal data, the steal technology have now reached perfection.
Team is responsible for, the Israeli Banco Lyon University Network Security Research Center of Mordechai Guri and his colleagues designed a total of three network attacks, every kind of attack are different, the means includes radio waves, electromagnetic waves, the GSM network, even computer radiates heat.
Now, the team found another way to steal computer data, that sounds very cool: the use of internal computer cooling fan's voice!
They developed the malicious software Fansmitter called, based on any data are 1 and 0 combination principle, infected a computer will control fan speed, making the work in two different speeds, respectively, the corresponding binary "1" and "0".
Although this technology can only be used to steal a limited number of data, but it is enough to steal the decoding key, the user list and password, as well as a small part of the history and documentation of the keyboard records. The team now through this way to steal data speed can reach 20 to 15 per minute, more than 1200 per hour, and now they are still trying to speed up the speed of data theft.
Guri said: "we found that if we use two fans (CUPU and chassis fans) at the same time, then we can speed up the transfer rate. Now we are working to develop these technologies to speed up the machine and make it faster."
